Definitions
- “Project Science Ltd” means the company Project Science Ltd
- “App” means the Knowledge for Jira application developed by Project Science Ltd using the Atlassian Forge infrastructure for Jira Cloud, and made available via the Atlassian Marketplace only
- “End User” means any third party that uses the Atlassian Marketplace to access and install the App on their system, and the subject of this agreement
- “End User Terms” means this agreement governing the End User use of the App
- “End User Data” means any data, content or information of an end user that is accessed, collected or otherwise processed by Project Science Ltd in connection with End User use of the Atlassian Marketplace and the App.
Terms and Conditions
- The App is developed using Project Science Ltd’s “Privacy by Design” methodology. The App is a plugin designed to integrate and function within Atlassian’s approved Forge framework. The App processes all Jira issue and project data entirely within the Atlassian data domain.
- Jira issue data is not stored or shared outside your Atlassian domain, and there are no external endpoints.
- Limited diagnostic data from the App may be used to help identify any performance or functionality issues, and resolve any issues you report.
- The App has controlled access to End User Jira data that is enforced by the Forge platform read/write specification. The App does not modify or write to your Jira data, so even in the unlikely event of an app failure, your Jira project data should not be impacted.
- Because data is maintained within Atlassian’s data domain, and the app does not send any data outside, approval for deploying Expert for Jira is likely to be much easier. Any privacy and security audit requirements are likely to be covered by your organisation’s existing privacy and security assessment of Atlassian products.
- End User Data is limited to your organisation name and contact points, along with limited diagnostic data required to maintain and enhance the App functionality.
- End User Data is stored within the United Kingdom, and industry-standard security measures are employed.
- Project Science Ltd (and not Atlassian) is responsible for processing of End User Data.
